The Organization for Participatory Development (OPD) is a registered non-governmental civil society organization. With its head office in Gujranwala city, currently the OPD operates in three out of five tehsils in Gujranwala
district, namely Gujranwala City, Kamoke and Wazirabad. The OPD’s mission is “to promote and deliver sustainable development by alleviating poverty and reducing gender gaps”. In the past 25 years, the OPD has implemented
numerous projects focusing on education, health, micro-credit, enterprise development, women’s empowerment as well as research and advocacy in collaboration with UNDP, UNICEF, the Canadian International Development
Agency (CIDA), The Asia Foundation (TAF) and LEVIs and the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF). The OPD is currently looking for young, energetic and educated individuals (both male and female) for its microcredit
program in Gujranwala district. The microcredit program aims to help people from low income and disadvantaged communities in Gujranwala, particularly women.
Currently, we are looking for people for our field teams, social mobilization and field monitoring. We also welcome CVs from individuals interested in jobs and internships and maintain an active roster of CVs to
contact and select for suitable roles.
